* 1954 in Vienna.
In 1973, admitted to the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, master class of Rudolf Hausner. Graduated in 1977, simultaneously awarded the Cardinal König Prize. That same year, Sinwel decided on his future as a freelance artist. Rome scholarship in 1980, Theodor Körner Foundation Prize in 1981.
Since 1977, Sinwel has regularly participated in fairs and exhibitions across Central Europe. His artistic interest lies in the continuous development of a multi-layered painting practice that can be ambiguously described by the term "worldview," while at the same time occupying a distinctive individual position in the contemporary art scene.
